Crystal Room Restaurant @ Glen Innes Services club, Grey Street has featured innovations like 350-400g steaks which diners cook themselves on a heated granite slab. As well as lunches and dinners, the club has Friday and Sunday night smorgasbords and Saturday night theme dinners, from Hawaiian to Italian.

Hereford Steakhouse, at Rest Point Motor Inn, is renowned for New England grass-fed steaks – from 400g to 1.4kg – as well as a range of other dishes from lamb, pork and fish from the Mid-North Coast; a New England wine of the month is featured. The restaurant has won several excellence awards from Restaurant and Catering, NSW.
